I never want to see mistletoe again! Ever! I got caught under that stupid mistletoe and I had to have some fourth year get me out of that stupid body-bind which was completely embarrassing. I mean, it was sweet of him to help me, it's just wasn't what I had thought of for a first kiss, especially when he tried to slip his tongue in my mouth. But I must have been standing there for a good hour before he came along note to self: don't try taking shortcuts when mistletoe is on the loose. If I see mistletoe again, it'll be way too soon.
On the bright side, I can't wait to go home for Christmas break! My parents already sent me my work schedule and I can't wait to see what they've done to the shop while I was gone. They claim they've expanded the store, and the reading section. It's going to be exciting. Comics always make everything better and they might even make me forget about my horrible first kiss. |

Why didn't any of the professors give us any earning about how rigorous studying for the O.W.L.'s can be. I swear these books are piling up higher than me, it's utterly ridiculous. I have a stack of comics that my parents sent me that I haven't even peeked at yet, mostly because if I look at one I'll end up reading them all in on sitting. At least I have Quidditch, which is what is keeping my sanity at near human levels.
I really can't wait for this to be over, but that's just so far off. I think I'll start counting down till winter break, when I can get some good food. I'm even starting to missing my mother's cooking, and that's like missing poison. |

I'm never going camping again or play with fire. At least Quidditch is starting soon.

I am not the Human Torch, Pyro, Magma or anyone with Pyrokinesis and I should never act like that again. Unless of course Iceman is around to save the day, because he's awesome like that. It's a good thing I found that bucket by the lakes or all the tents would have ended up nice a crispy. |

Amsterdam! My parents took us to Amsterdam! My lovely brother has been dragging me left and right trying to see everything. But we ended up finding this place called the red light district or something weird like that. I had never heard of it, but I saw things there I can't take back very disturbing things. My brother thought it was a short cut to the art museum. It wasn't.
But I think the best part about this trip is that my parents are letting me go back to London by myself for a few days so I can pick up a few things. I can't wait. |

Mum and Dad have been planning some vacation for next week. They refuse to tell me or Bruce where they're taking us, and it's driving up nuts. Bruce is hoping for Amsterdam, but I'm just happy just to get away from Bristol for awhile. As much as I love it here, after two months, it'll be nice to see some place else.
I can't believe the start of school is a month away. Is it me, or did summer go by too quickly. |

I GOT A PUPPY!!! Well, actually my mum got a puppy for her birthday. But since I live here, it's sort of like I got my own. His name is Wolverine, and he's so sweet. I wish I could take him to Hogwarts with me. He's so sweet, do you think anyone would notice?

I hope everyone is having a good vacation, I know I am! My brother and I had our traditional all night movie marathon. It was great, my mom got us pizza and cookies. It isn't until I get home, do I realize how much I miss my family when I'm off at school. But at least now I get to spend all summer with them! My mum and dad are already planning a bunch of family activities, I can't wait.
Tomorrow I get to start work in my parents shop. I don't even know if I should call it work, my brother and I volunteers to do it every summer. We mostly get paid to sit around and read comics, and talk about comics. I mean, what can be better than that, seeing as we do that anyway without pay? Does anyone else have a summer job yet? |

I have read all my books twice, and I still don't think I'm ready for my exam. Right about now I wish I were like Jean Gray and being able to read everyone's mind to get the answer. I would love that, but since I can't, I have to study. I feel like my brain is turning into mush and is going to slid out of my ears. I can't wait until they're over. I don't even want to think about the O.W.L.'s, I don't know how I'm going to survive.
But once it's over ,we have summer. I'm super excited, I get to work in my parent's store! My parents sent me a letter the other day, talking about maybe going to a comic book convention. I'm so excited, I hope they decide to go. |

I need to finish this Divination essay. I'm supposed to look at the tea leaves and through decipher what they mean. But for the life of me, I can't tell if they're saying I'm going to die by choking on a bee or if I'm going to fall into a cacti. Either way, I don't like what it's say. I hope I'm reading it wrong, and I do think I am. I would double check, but all I want is to be done, seeing as I'm putting off reading the comics my parents sent me and it's slowly driving me mad. I have two more inches to finish and then I can finally enjoy myself.
Does anyone have any idea on how I can drag this out? I'm rubbish at figuring out how to write nonsense. That sounds horrible. It sounds like I'm just trying to write anything to get it done and over with even though I really am. I'm going to pop if I don't finish soon. And if I do, I apology in advance if my guts end up on someones things. |
